A Hot Wheels Live Action Movie Is Coming

Hot Wheels is getting a live-action movie.

Warner Brothers announced that John M. Chu will direct the upcoming film. Chu has recently directed the Wicked movies.

The press release promises “some of the world’s hottest and sleekest vehicles.”

Mattel continues to use its toys for the big screen. After the success of the Barbie movie, Mattel has films for Barney, Polly Pocket, Uno, and Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots in the works.
