A new version of the series adapted from the Laura Ingalls Wilder books is coming to the streamer.

Netflix described its adaptation as “part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West.”

The original Little House on the Prarie series was a ratings success in the 1970s and 80s on NBC.

The old episodes continue to perform well on Peacock. Last year, viewers watched over 13 billion minutes of Little House online.
