This box office hit is getting a follow-up. 

Disney Planning A Sequel To Live Action Lilo and Stitch  

Disney will continue the Lilo and Stitch story. 

The live-action version of the movie was released over Memorial Day weekend and has grossed $910 million worldwide. 

Disney made the announcement on 6/26 to correspond with the space alien’s government name, Experiment 626.

There’s no word on when production will begin.
