Man Arrested After Driving a Pink Barbie Jeep to Get a ‘Slurpee’

A man was arrested for driving a pink child-size Barbie Jeep while under the influence. The incident occurred on a “busy” street in Prince George, British Columbia, on Sept. 5, at around 9 a.m.

The man was later identified as Kasper Lincoln, who had a suspended license and was also driving under the influence. 

He was ultimately “arrested for prohibited driving.”

While speaking to the CBC after his release, Kasper said he had been planning to meet up with a friend to get a Slurpee, but then “got lazy” and opted to drive his roommate’s child’s toy car instead of walking. 

“I never drove it before,” he told the outlet with a laugh.

He’s now facing a driving-under-the-influence charge, though he plans to fight it, claiming he did not know he was breaking any laws.

“I was using the hand signals and everything,” he told the CBC.

Driving any motorized vehicle without a licence is against the law, police say.
