What are the chances that it snows on Christmas?
Will It Be A White Christmas For You?
The chance of a White Christmas looks slim for many in the United States.

The National Weather Service predicts above-average temperatures for most of the country between December 23rd and December 27th.
Only Alaska, the Northeast, the northern Mid-Atlantic, and parts of the northwestern U.S. are expected to see near or below-normal temperatures.
Above-average precipitation is expected in the western half of the country, North Dakota, parts of Minnesota, the Great Lakes region, the Northeast, and some areas of the Ohio Valley into the Mid-Atlantic.
Very few spots in the U.S. will have temperatures below freezing to support sufficient snowfall, leading to a warm, snowless Christmas for most of the country.
There is a potential for slight or moderate snow in the West along the Rocky Mountains and surrounding areas, but it’s not a certainty.
Just under 22% of the country is currently covered by snow, with a chance for snow to remain on the ground until Christmas in regions with continued freezing temperatures.
