Cleveland Zoo Needs Your Help Naming Sloth Bear Cub
A 16-ou
nce female sloth bear cub was born back in December and the Cleveland Zoo wants your help in naming her.
The sloth bear, native to Sri Lanka, is listed as “vulnerable” on the threated species list.
The zoo has created a donation page to name the little cub. You can choose from three names: Kamali, for “perfect lotus;” Sahana, for “patience;” and Suhani or Su for “pleasant.” You have until March 25th to vote at ClevelandZooSociety.org.
The donations will go to Saving Animals from Extinction’s (SAVE) sloth bear conservation program.
