Google To Develop 3 Advanced Nuclear Projects   

Google is working with Elementi Power on three advanced nuclear projects to power its artificial intelligence projects.

Google will provide the capital for each one, which will pump out 600 megawatts of power.

States across the U.S. are trying to prepare for the projects, which will likely come with subsidies and relaxed regulations. Just last year, 25 states passed bills supporting advanced nuclear energy.

Constellation Energy, the owner of Three Mile Island, home of the nation’s worst commercial nuclear power accident in 1979, wants to reopen the Pennsylvania location to support Microsoft.

Amazon has also invested in two small nuclear reactors.
