Ohio Food Truck Sued Over ‘L’eggo My Eggroll’ Name

Kellogg’s has sued an Ohio food truck business, L’eggo My Eggroll, for infringing and capitalizing on the company’s trademarked L’eggo brand waffle name.

The company says it’s reached out “multiple times” to the food truck business’ owners about copyright infringement but have ignored their demands, instead “asking “for Kellogg to purchase its entire business in exchange for a substantial monetary sum.”

Kellogg now says it wants L’eggo My Eggroll to “account for and pay over to Kellogg all gains, profits, and advantages derived from its violation” and pay for any legal fees.

The food truck owners have 30 days to respond to the lawsuit.
