Amazon Is Putting Prescriptions in Vending Machines
Amazon is introducing prescription vending machines at its One Medical clinics.
The vending machines will allow patients to pick up their prescriptions immediately after their appointment.
The kiosks will offer commonly prescribed medications, with inventory customized based on each office location’s prescribing patterns, excluding controlled substances and refrigerated medications.
The Amazon Pharmacy Kiosks will first be available at One Medical locations in Los Angeles in December, with plans for expansion to more locations.
