Yes, you can get through Fall allergy season.
How To Get Through Fall Allergy Season
If you’re one of the 80 million Americans who dread Fall allergy season, here’s how to survive the sneezes, sniffles and more, according to Dr. Soo Kwak, an allergy and immunology specialist with New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital:
- Use eye drops, nose sprays, and decongestant medications.
- Change clothing frequently, as pollen can get stuck to you while outdoors.
- Stay inside a clean space in the morning, when ragweed pollen is at its highest.
If you’re still miserable from allergies after taking these steps, Dr. Kwak advises that you talk to an allergist about vaccines that can decrease your sensitivity.
