A “Big Lebowski” Conspiracy Theory?

Big “Big Lewoski” fan here! I’ve seen it a bunch, and it makes me happy every time I watch it. Some “Big Lebowski” fans have a theory that Steve Buscemi’s character “Donnie” isn’t real, he’s just a figment of “Walter’s” (John Goodman’s character) imagination. And even “The Dude” (Jeff Bridges) thinks it could be a thing, saying “It kind of works, man.” Even explaining the “Donnie’s ashes scene” may have just been The Dude humoring his friend Walter by PRETENDING Donnie exists. For the record, when the Coen Brothers (who wrote and directed The Big Lebowski), were presented with this theory years ago, and they called it “hogwash”.
