Average American Hasn’t Changed Pizza Order in 2 Years
There’s a new poll out on pizza, and it found that the average American hasn’t changed their pizza order in TWO YEARS. And 14% of people have been eating the exact same pizza for over five years. 57% of Americans say they’re open to trying new pizza combinations but “don’t know where to start” (maybe try picking different toppings???). So what are the boring options people are repeatedly ordering? In 20 states, the preferred order is a regular old pepperoni pizza. In 18 states, it’s a “meat lover’s pizza.” In eight states, it’s a “supreme pizza.” Massachusetts is the only state that’s off the beaten path . . . slightly, with a preference for a veggie pizza (at least no one’s #1 is a “cheese pizza,” which is just one step above crust and sauce). Here’s the map of every state’s preferred pizza order.
