Best Choice When Playing Rock, Paper, Scissors . . .

This COULD win you a beer in a bar bet (or at the very least, help decide who’s making dinner, or gets to “ride shotgun”). Someone surveyed thousands of people, asking what they’re most likely to choose when playing Rock, Paper Scissors. And the most common answer by far was ROCK.

34% usually go with rock . . .

23% said scissors . . .

And 20% said paper.

So CHOOSING paper on your first throw gives you the best odds of winning. The same poll asked about other games of chance, Flipping a Coin:

59% call heads,

21% said tails.

And when Choosing A Number Between 1 And 10: there’s a clear winner.

36% said “7” is their go-to number (the number “5” is a distant second with 12% of the vote).

So if you’re asking someone to pick a number, DON’T choose “7” unless you want them to guess it. And if you want them to guess wrong, the best number to pick is “1”. Only 1% of people said it’s their go-to number (“10” is next at 2%).
