Coffee Is the #1 Beverage We “Can’t Live Without”

The company that owns Keurig and Dr. Pepper just released its first ever “State of Beverages” report. Now the fact that a coffee-and-soda company did this poll might make this a little suspect, but it’s hard to argue this isn’t true. The report found the most IMPORTANT drink of them all is . . . COFFEE. It’s the top beverage Americans say they “can’t live without.” 62% agree with the statement, “My day doesn’t start until I’ve had a cup of coffee.” And 69% agree with, “Drinking coffee every morning is my happy place.” Now that doesn’t mean coffee is our “favorite” drink though, it’s just the one we need in order to function every day. America’s “favorite” beverage is pop. 53% enjoy the taste more than any other beverage.
