Around 1 in every 3,000 words we write is a curse word (the U.K. is next at 1 in every 4,200 words, then Australia at 1 in every 4,500). 1 in 3,000 might not sound like a lot, but think about all the news sites and other websites that NEVER use swear words. The stat for blogs is even higher, where 1 in every 2,300 words on American blogs is a curse word. So, congrats America! When it comes to cussin’, you’re pretty dang good at it . . . USA! USA! USA!
