Europeans Are Getting a Taste of Our Country . . . And It’s Hilarious
Some European soccer fans who’ve made their first trip to America for the World Cup, are getting a taste of our country (and their reactions are priceless). A German guy named Freddy has been Tweeting about his experiences, and some of his joyful discoveries include, Buc-ee’s, the number of choices At the Wendy’s self-serve soda machine, the Florida heat, and Waffle House at 1:00am (he gave it a 10 out of 10). A Swedish woman named Elsa who In just 48 hours, found that the wifi on her plane Was faster than what she has in her HOUSE, she saw her first Amish people, and learned that Ranch dressing is basically CRACK, and Europe needs it ASAP. I love these stories for a couple reasons . . . 1) looking at America through a foreigner’s eyes, we realize America is not as bad as some people in our OWN country like to portray it. And 2) we tend to take a lot of things for granted, like a Waffle House and 150 soft drink combinations.
