“Get Me Public Relations STAT!”
Did you see this over the weekend? A Polish CEO became a villain by grabbing a hat that a tennis pro was trying to give a kid at the US Open. He has now apologized, calling it a “serious mistake”, and claims he thought the player was giving the hat to him. The tennis pro in the middle of this, is also from Poland, and when he heard about it, he arranged to meet the kid who had the hat stolen in person on Saturday, and he gave him a bunch of swag. And for the record, he says he believes the guy’s story. He says the CEO is a big fan, and even sponsors his tennis federation back in Poland. Also, there WAS a statement credited to the guy, in which he expressed ZERO remorse and even insulted the kid for not being fast enough, but that turned out to be FAKE (note the quote in the video description below).
