Good News “Bar Fairies” and “Old Water Skiers”
Here’s a couple Good News Stories because it’s Monday, and quite frankly this morning . . . I earned it!
#1) A nonprofit called the Montana Bar Fairies is going viral, for rewarding people who make the safe choice not to drive after drinking. Volunteers are leaving $5 coffee gift cards under the windshield wipers of cars left overnight at bars. Thanking the owners for having a cab, Ubber, or a buddy, take them home instead of risking a DUI.
#2) A 94-year-old man from New Zealand has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records, as the WORLD’S OLDEST WATER SKIER. Bryan Murray earned the title at 94 years and 318 days (just a few weeks before his 95th birthday). Bryan’s been water skiing since 1955, and has no plans to retire (so he can extend his record even further). He says, “You don’t stop because you are too old. You get old because you stop being active.”
