Grab A Tissue 

Be warned, here’s a “Good News Story” you may need a tissue for. A family in Pennsylvania got the diagnosis that they needed to put their 8-year-old Great Dane down. So they got her a steak dinner from their local Texas Roadhouse. They got her an eight-ounce New York strip steak with fries and mashed potatoes. They ordered it online and wrote that it was their dog’s “last meal.” So the cook took time to make sure it was the “best steak” they’d ever made. They also wrote “Made with Love” on the container, and staff members all signed a note that said, “I’m so sorry.” The family recently went in for dinner to thank them in person. I just thought this was a really cool story, about strangers helping strangers, by just showing kindness. (I’m NOT crying . . . someone must be cutting onions near by.)
