Happiest and Least Happy States in America
An annual study just announced the happiest states in the U.S. in 2025. All 50 states were ranked, based on 30 different metrics. The Top 5 happiest states in the U.S. are: Hawaii, Maryland, Nebraska, New Jersey and Connecticut. The 5 LEAST happy states in the U.S. are: West Virginia, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, and Alaska. Right in the middle, the 25th state (which apparently doesn’t lean happy or unhappy) . . . South Carolina. For the record, OHIO is the 38th happiest state in the country.
