It’s National Egg Day, and what started as a folksy “honorary holiday”, but now, because eggs have become one of our most precious, valuable commodities, maybe it should be a federal holiday! Here are some “Egg Fun Facts”: 67% of people say they buy white eggs (compared to 20% prefer brown eggs). 46% of people say the prefer scrambled eggs (25% said fried, 7% said hard-boiled). As to how we like to CRACK our eggs? 57% said they crack eggs “on the edge of a bowl or pan” (while 23% said “on a flat countertop”).
