Here We Go Again . . .

Wasn’t anyone paying attention to the “New Coke Debacle”? If you buy Kraft Mac & Cheese you know what to expect: Macaroni, cheese, cheap, and not all that nutritious. But that’s about to change (maybe not that last part). Kraft is nixing the CHEESE. (???) But it won’t just be a box of noodles. It’s called “Kraft Not Mac & Cheese” . . . and it features a dairy-free alternative to its usual powdered cheese (yes, that powdered cheese has dairy). It will be showing up in grocery stores soon, and will come in two varieties, original and white cheddar with shells. And the vegan cheese “sauce” is made with fava bean protein and coconut oil powder, which Kraft says has a “similar taste, look, and feel to dairy-based mac and cheese.” In other words, it’s better than it sounds (their press release describes it as “mouthwatering”).
