How Bad ARE Things In L.A.?

L.A.’s Department of Transportation is being mocked online for an ad telling people they’re not allowed to POOP on city buses (???). The city immediately yanked the ad from YouTube, but didn’t explain why they made it in the first place. They shared six ads on their YouTube page. Each one encouraged people to report things like smoking, drinking, playing loud music . . . and public defection. In the PSA, someone spots a steaming poop emoji on the floor of a bus and reports it online (there’s also a graphic at the bottom that says, “No Pooping”). Here’s the local L.A.
