March Madness: Our Top Bracket Strategies
March Madness is underway. Around one in six Americans planned on filling out brackets this year. And apparently it’s a lot easier when you know NOTHING about basketball. (???) A poll found our top strategies for filling out brackets include “hunches,” “vibes,” and whatever our friends think. Around a third of Americans think they have enough college basketball knowledge to be good at filling out their bracket . . . everyone else are just winging it . . .
- 23% said their top strategy is asking friends or family for help . . .
- 14% choose winners based on “hunches” . . .
- 22% said just whatever “vibes” they’re feeling (like, “Ooh, I like their uniform colors”).
- Around one in 10 said they sometimes make picks based on the team’s mascot.
