Our Most Trusted Brands By Generations

There’s a new report out on America’s “most trusted brands”. They looked at restaurants, groceries, household products, services, and entertainment, and then broke it down by generations. And believe it or not, there was actually some common ground. Here’s the rundown . . .

  • For Gen Z (1997-2012), the most trusted brand is:  YouTube, followed by Band-Aid, Dawn Dish Soap, Costco, and Google.
  • For Millennials (1981-1996), the most trusted brand is:  Google, followed by PayPal, YouTube, Dawn Dish Soap, and the USPS.
  • For Gen X (1965-1980), the most trusted brand is:  Dawn Dish Soap, followed by Oral-B, Hershey’s, Band-Aid, and Duracell.
  • For Boomers (1946-1964), the most trusted brand is:  Kleenex, followed by Dawn Dish Soap, UPS, Tylenol, and Band-Aid.

There are some similarities on those lists, who knew Dawn Dish Soap would be our common bond? As for the DIFFERENCES . . .

  • The brand Gen Z’ers trust the most compared to other adults is:  TikTok.
  • The brand Millennials trust the most compared to other adults is:  Bitcoin.
  • The brand Gen X’ers trust the most compared to other adults is:  Campbell’s Soup.
  • The brand Boomers trust the most compared to other adults is:  Procter & Gamble.
