Scholarships to Play Division-1 . . . Cornhole????
THIS should make you feel pretty good, as you head into a job where your under-paid and under-appreciated . . . 2 kids from Colorado were just awarded the first-ever athletic scholarships to play . . . Division-1 CORNHOLE. Jaxson Remmick and Gavin Hamann went to ThunderRidge High School near Denver, which has a strong cornhole program, I guess. (???) They’re obviously cornhole prodigies. They won the first ever High School Championship together in 2021, and then another one a year later. They signed letters of intent to play D-1 cornhole for Winthrop University in South Carolina. The school hasn’t said how much the scholarship is for, but it’s not a full ride.
