Science Has Spoken (Despite what women claim)

Despite what women tell us, EVERYONE passes gas. Now science has weighed in, and we can now answer a question that has been plaguing mankind for centuries . . . whose smells worse, men or women. A scientific experiment had 16 men and women eat gassy foods, and then used “rectal tubes” and “gas bags” in a lab, to collect the “releases” (can you imagine the effort it took, to convince people to participate in this study?) The gas collected in the bags was then sniffed and rated by two independent judges (Don’t even get me started on the search to get judges!). They were judged on a scale where zero (meaning “no odor”), and 8 (which were “very offensive”). They found that the flatulence of WOMEN had a much greater odor intensity, but MEN produced a larger volume of gas per toot. Researchers say volume can make a bigger impact on noses, than the concentration of rotten smell, so the differences between the sexes balanced out in real life. In other words . . . it was a TIE (which just seems like a “scientific cop-out” to me).
