Stupid Criminal: A Man Charged With DWI (Dronning While Intoxicated)?

A man was arrested for DWI . . . DRONNING while intoxicated? 34-year-old Richard Carpenter was operating a drone around 12:20am Monday, when he intentionally buzzed a parked car with it. A guy was in the car with his window down at the time, and called police, because the drone’s spinning blades were too close for comfort. The cops showed up, and Richard admitted he was flying the drone in that direction, because he thought the guy was following him (since he saw the car in several different locations). Turns out, the guy’s a delivery driver! Police smelled alcohol on Richard, who they say “seemed hammered”. Richard was charged with burglary and assault, because in addition to the drone nonsense, he also reached inside the guy’s vehicle and tried to wrestle his phone away from him.
