Saving a couple bucks won’t make up for all that money you just forked over to the government, but a bunch of places have Tax Day deals today . . .

  • Krispy Kreme: Buy a dozen donuts at full price, and get a second dozen for just the sales tax.
  • Hooters has a buy-one-get-one wings deal.
  • Dave & Buster’s has 50% off all food between today and April 28th if you join their rewards program.
  • White Castle has 15% off for April 15th if you use the code “WC15OFF”.

Most of those may be outside our neck of the woods, but here are a few you might be able to take advantage of that are closer to home . . .

  • Arby’s: Enjoy a free sandwich as a part of Arby’s Free Sandwich Month promotion. Every week in April, Arby’s Rewards members will have one Free Sandwich Deal loaded into their account.
  • Fazoli’s: (I believe there’s one in Lima), is offering 6 free breadsticks with a $5 purchase at participating locations with the code Tax24.
  • And Panda Express: Is offering a $30 Family Meal deal for the entire week. The deal includes 2 large sides and 3 large entrees.
