The Drink of the Summer May Be . . .

If you were a kid who spent any time with your grandparents, you’re probably familiar with Fresca, the old-person soda. Well, you might need to rethink that, because an ALCOHOLIC version of Fresca called “Fresca Hard” has hit stores, and some posted it might be the “Drink Of The Summer.” It’s 4.6%, is only 99 calories per can, with zero sugar. It’s available in several flavors: Classic Grapefruit Citrus, Pineapple Citrus, Peach Citrus, and Watermelon Citrus. Someone reviewed it, and said the grapefruit one does taste like classic Fresca, but the best flavor is Peach Citrus. Nothing says “middle age rebellion” like getting buzzed on the same soda your grandma drank while yelling at “Wheel of Fortune.”
