The Joey Ramone Children’s Book?

Ramone’s frontman Joey Ramone’s life has been turned into a children’s book about being different and embracing it. It’s called “Gabba Gabba We Accept You: The Wondrous Tale of Joey Ramone“. It’s about “a misfit kid who grew up to be a punk rock hero”, and how “being your own person with your own compass, embracing uniqueness.” The author wrote the book after realizing that a lot of life lessons he tried to teach his own daughter, were learned through, “punk stuff.” He adds, “The Ramones, and in particular Joey, seemed like the perfect embodiment of that.” The book comes out in June.
