The Latest Christmas Trend . . . “Nude Christmas Trees” (???)

There’s a “naked Christmas tree” trend going viral on social media, which is basically what it sounds like: A tree, without any ornaments, decorations, tinsel, and sometimes without even lights. It’s a “modern,” “minimalist” thing, with people saying it’s a “less is more” thing, where you can enjoy the feeling and “clean” look of the tree without the clutter. It’s supposed to be “elegant, peaceful, streamlined, and stress-free.” However, others say it looks unfinished, and it looks like an animal might jump out of it like it’s outside. I remember when we used to call naked trees “a forest.”
