The Most Important Bass In History

Paul McCartney has been reunited with his long-lost Höfner bass. It’s been called “the most important bass in history”, because it was used to create and record so many Beatles songs. It was stolen from the back of a van in London in 1972, but a campaign called “The Lost Bass Project” was able to track down the original thief, who led them to the person he sold it to. From there, they traced its journey over the past 50-plus years, until it was finally located in the attic of a home on the south coast of England. The homeowner didn’t even know the history of the bass. While it needs some minor repairs, it’s still complete, has its original case, and can easily be made playable again.
