The States That Drive the Fastest . . . and the Slowest

If traffic is really slow on the roads today, just be thankful you aren’t in New Hampshire. In a new report on the average driving speeds in each state, New Hampshire was the slowest, with an average speed of just under 50 miles per hour. Wyoming has the fastest drivers, at an average speed of nearly 72 mph. The more densely-populated states are generally slower than the wide-open roads of the bigger western states. Ohio was #5 for urban driving, While Alaska was the fastest “urban driving” state. (And the RESIDENTIAL street in America where people drive the fastest is . . . YOUR STREET.)
