The States That Love Halloween the Most, and Least
It’s hard to tell if your neighbors are HUGE Labor Day fanatics, unless they’re having a loud barbecue or late summer pool party. But it’s obvious if your neighborhood has massive Halloween freaks. A new survey asked Americans to rate how much they LOVE Halloween on a scale of 1 to 5, and figured out what states are the biggest Halloween fanatics. Delaware, Idaho, and North Dakota, were the biggest Halloween fans (all scored an average of 4.2 out of 5). The state with the LEAST Halloween spirit is: Arizona (possibly because it’s still 90 degrees there during trick-or-treating). For comparison, Arizona scored an average of 3.7 out of 5. Wisconsin also isn’t THAT into Halloween, followed by Montana, Hawaii, and South Carolina. For the record, OHIO came in with a “Halloween Love ranking” of 3.98 out of 5 (compared with the top state ranking of 4.2).
