Things Boomers Love Saying

I pick on Millennials because . . . well, they’re Millennials! But as a borderline “Boomer”/”Gen Xer” that doesn’t mean I can’t laugh at myself too. Millennials on Twitter posted things that Boomers LOVE saying, and they aren’t wrong. Here are a few of the highlights (it reminds me of Dr. Rick from the Progressive commercials) . . .

• “Just nuke it” (when something could be warmed up in a microwave).
• “Let’s see if this works” (when handing over a credit card).
• “So what’s the damage?” (after getting the bill at a restaurant).
• “Well, I guess it’s free” (when an item isn’t ringing up at a checkout).
