THIS Is Why College Football Is Special

Even if you’re not an Ohio State fan this was a pretty cool story. Kamryn Babb has been a team captain for the Buckeyes football team for the last two years, even though he’s never caught a pass in an Ohio State game. Babb hadn’t caught a pass because his career has been spent on the sidelines because of FOUR ACL SURGERIES, two on each knee (and a different knee injury kept him out of the first nine games this season). This Saturday, Babb finally made his 2022 debut, and it was a storybook one. He caught an 8-yard pass from C.J. Stroud for the final touchdown in Ohio State’s 56-14 rout of Indiana. Teammates mobbed him in the end zone, and the celebration continued on the sideline.
