This Week in Science: Space Tomatoes

In space news: The Space Station turned 25 last week. It was only supposed to be up there 15 years. They started assembling it on December 6th, 1998. In other “Space Station News” . . . astronauts on the Space Station just found a tomato that went missing up there eight months ago. Originally the Space Station crew jokingly accused astronaut Frank Rubio of eating it. “Our good friend Frank Rubio, who headed home, has been blamed for quite a while for eating the tomato,” NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli said during Wednesday’s livestream. “But we can exonerate him. We found the tomato.”
