Today Is the Only Friday the 13th of 2025
Today is Friday the 13th. The good news is, this will be the ONLY one of the year. The BAD news . . . we’ll have THREE in 2026. I didn’t know this, but for a month to have a Friday the 13TH, the month has to begin on a Sunday (who knew). The next Friday the 13th will be in February 2026 (the first of the 3 next year). For what it’s worth, a poll found that a majority of Americans don’t really care about the date today. When asked “Do you think Friday the 13th is an unlucky day?”, 80% said it’s probably, or definitely NOT unlucky. Men are twice as likely as women to believe that Friday the 13th is unlucky.
