Firefighters and good Samaritans in South Carolina worked together on Saturday to save a dolphin that got stranded in shallow water and couldn’t find her way back to the ocean. They got her on a tarp, lifted her out, and carried her 75 yards up an embankment. Then they drove her to a dock a few miles away and released her. She’s actually a dolphin that’s being tracked by researchers at the University of South Carolina, and appropriately enough, her name is “Lucky”.
