What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
If your kid isn’t having nightmares about robots yet, they might if they go to a school district in Western New York. They plan on using a new kind of teacher to greet students this fall . . . a full-on HUMANOID ROBOT. But the robot (named Sally), won’t be replacing a classroom teacher, it’s programmed to provide “learning support” to both students and educators. Sally will have a “lifelike appearance”,
with silicone skin and long brown hair. The company that makes Sally is Realbotix, also owns “RealDoll”, a hyper-realistic sex doll. But DON’T WORRY . . . they’d like everyone to know that there’s ZERO overlap between the two teams (well THAT’S a relief).
