Women Are Begging Men to Stop . . .

Summer is around the corner, so you should know about this warm-weather footwear debate, currently going down on social media right now (and no, It is NOT wearing socks with sandals). A woman is going viral for a video where she cries, while explaining how upsetting it is to see MEN wearing flip-flops. Maybe it’s just me, but have we “jumped the shark” just a bit, because somebody’s upset that Uncle Don has visible toes at Applebee’s? A LOT of women in the comments agree, noting, “The toe hair? I just can’t.” and “The worst is the jeans / flip-flop combo.” One woman noted her husband had “ORTHOPEDIC FLIP-FLOPS.” The video has been viewed more than 28 million times, has 5 million likes, and 28,000 comments. You probably should take note, that WHERE you wear flip-flops matters. Wearing flip-flops in New York City isn’t so much about footwear . . . more of a bacterial handshake with the universe.
