County Road 180 Bridge Replacement Project Finished

The Hancock County Road 180 Bridge Replacement project between State Route 568 and State Route 37 over Lye Creek has been completed and is open to traffic.

The project began on March 30th, and was said to last 120 days, but it was finished well ahead of that timeframe.

The Hancock County Engineer’s Office says the project replaced the existing bridge, whose condition had warranted the construction of a new structure meeting current bridge standards.
