Fatal Crash In Hancock County

At approximately 5:55pm on May 29th the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle injury crash on SR 613 near TR 231 in Allen Township.
Preliminary investigation indicates that a gray 2002 International truck, driven by 36-year-old Michael Davis of Kenton Ohio, was traveling westbound on SR 613 near TR 231.
The vehicle traveled into the eastbound lanes before it veered off the right side of the roadway, where it overturned and came to rest.
As a result of the crash Michael Davis was pronounced deceased.
Assisting at the scene was The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Allen Township Fire department,
Hanco EMS and Dick’s Towing.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
