Many Take Advantage Of Medication Collection Drive
(From the Findlay Police Department)
As a result of our Spring Medication Collection drive, we collected 154.80 pounds of unused/expired medications.
These are medications that would typically be disposed of in the trash or flushed into the City sewer system.
Thank you to those who took the time to dispose of them properly.
We’d also like to thank the Hancock County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services for sponsoring the event and the University of Findlay Pharmacy Department for assisting with the event.
For those who couldn’t make it to the medication collection drive, both the Findlay Police Department and Hancock County Sheriff’s Office have medication collection boxes in their lobby where you can dispose of your medications.
