Sheriff’s Office Clarifies That It Does Not Endorse Candidates
(From the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office)
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is aware of recently circulated photographs depicting a Deputy in the presence of a candidate for the Putnam County Probate and Juvenile Judge position.
The Sheriff’s Office would like to make it clear that it does not endorse any candidates for the position of Putnam County Probate Judge, nor does it endorse candidates for any elected office.
Any appearance of endorsement—whether through photographs, social media, or public events—should not be interpreted as an official position of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies and employees may engage in personal activities on their own time; however, those activities do not reflect the views or endorsements of the Office.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to serving the community in a fair, impartial, and professional manner, regardless of political affiliation.
Voters are encouraged to research all candidates and make informed decisions when casting their ballots.
