Sheriff Cortez has added a Lost Property tab to the Sheriff’s App!

This tab will not replace a formal report. It’s an informal inquiry designed to help us return found items to their rightful owners.

If you’ve lost an item in our area, and you’d like to submit an inquiry, simply download the Hancock County Sheriffs App, scroll to the “More” tab, scroll to the “Lost Property” tab, which will open the digital form.

Fill in the requested information, and if we’re in possession of your item, the Sheriff’s Office will reach out to you.
