Steve’s Heartburn: The Grocery Aisle Family Reunion
Sometimes the best Heartburn’s come straight from listeners.

Today’s submission comes from Liz, who perfectly described one of the most frustrating moments at the grocery store — when the cereal aisle suddenly turns into a social gathering.
If you’ve ever been stuck behind two carts parked in the middle of the aisle while people catch up on life… you’ll understand this one.
You’re trying to grab milk and bread…
and suddenly two people park their carts
right in the middle of the aisle
and start catching up like it’s a class reunion.
Now there’s a traffic jam in the cereal section,
and the rest of us are stuck there
holding a loaf of bread
waiting for someone to move.
And when they notice you behind them…
they slide the cart over two inches.
🛒 Now I’m not grocery shopping… I’m merging into produce traffic.
Ever experienced this one?
Send your Heartburn to Steve and it might make the show.
