AFTER THE MIC

There’s this weird moment after the mic goes off.

Everything gets quiet again.

You’ve been talking, laughing, moving fast… and then suddenly it’s just you, a chair, and the hum of a room that was loud five minutes ago.

Nobody really talks about that part of radio.

The in-between moments.

The ones where you’re not “on” anymore.

Sometimes that’s where the real thoughts live.

And honestly… I think everyone has a version of that in their life.

The quiet after the noise.
