The devices are subject to overheating while charging, which could cause burn and fire hazards.
The specific model in question is the Homedics Therapist Select Percussion Personal Massager, model number HHP-715.
If you own this model, the Consumer Product Safety Commission says to stop using it.
Homedics will offer a full cash refund or a credit toward any other Homedics product.
